TexMat Book Series
Welcome to TexMat Open Access Books platform!
Open access, Peer reviewed, Online-only Books
We publish open access books and chapters across a wide range of areas in textiles science and technologies. Open Access is becoming a new publication model for books. As part of our objective of disseminating and exchanging knowledge at the greatest levels possible on a worldwide scale, we strongly support the idea of open access books. We are committed to exploring feasible publishing models that are commercially viable and easily expandable.
Submissions are always welcome. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer review process. Submissions are published with a specific ISBN (and ISSN, if a periodic volume on the same topic is published) as soon as they are accepted. Published works are then indexed in the relevant databases for broader accessibility and recognition.
No set deadline
Open to submission at all times: There is no set deadline for submission, means you can perform your work at your own pace.
Increase discoverability
Increase visibility and discoverability: TexMat Open access books and chapters become available right away after being published. The content can be read online, and the PDF files can be downloaded for free.
More downloads/citations
More downloads and citations: Books with open access receive more downloads and citations than books without it.
Copyright
The author(s) retains the copyright of the submissions, but the content of the submission is free to download and distribute given appropriate attribution to the author(s) and citing Textiles and Materials Research Limited as the original publisher.
Peer review
A rigorous peer review process guarantees that your research work is eligible for publication and is relevant to the scientific research community.
Open access
TexMat Publication offer the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License as its default licence for OA books. It means that Open access books are freely available for anyone to download, share, and re-use. Other Creative Commons licences are available on request.
